Microsoft is seeming to be learning from some of Apple’s mistakes, as whenever a new OS X or iOS update is announced the servers seem to crash and then subsequently take ages to download anything. Now, Microsoft is adding a new feature to the upcoming Windows 10 which will allow it to use local and networked PCs to grab the update from a PC.

Using peer-to-peer networking, users will not only get updates faster but can also save on bandwidth.

Windows 10 is currently in public testing and will be released sometime this year.
