This week we have already had the news that Three and O2 are joining forces with a £10 billion deal. But now the news has broke that BT is getting back into the mobile game with their own virtual network (MVNO) which will piggy back on the EE network.

BT is choosing to offer SIM-only plans. Three different 12-month contracts will be on offer for the mean time. To start with a £10 per month contact with 200 minutes, unlimited texts and 500MB of 4G data, but if you are already a broadband customer, the price will drop to just £5.

The second plan is for £17 per month with 500 minutes, unmated texts but with 2GB of data, again if you pay for BT broadband it will be £12.

Lastly, the third plan is £25 per month with unlimited minutes, unlimited texts, 20GB data and for broadband customers, just £20.

A number of benefits come with the phone plans if you are a broadband customer, such as the discount, access to VT Sport and the BT WiFi hotspots.
