Microsoft has recently update the Xbox app on Windows 10 for Insiders. Now Xbox One and Windows 10 are coming even closer together as the final release date for the upcoming operating system is drawing closer. Microsoft has added “Game Hubs” which were added to the Xbox One in a recent software update and the new Game Bar, which is similar to the snap feature on Xbox One. The Game Bar allows you to record game play on your PC by pressing “Windows + G” – although this can be customised.

Game Hubs allow you users to view information about a particular game, such as which friends play it and any game clips from the community.

This month, Major Nelson revealed on his blog that Windows 10 Insiders can now test the game streaming in their home network. He also said that it will collect data and feedback to improve this feature before releasing it to the public.

The Xbox app has had some extra tweaks such as better friend management and the ability to turn on or off your console from your PC.

You can test out these features by downloading Windows 10 from the Microsoft website – http://windows.microsoft.com/en-gb/windows-10/about
