Virgin Media is expanding it’s super-fast broadband to UK city Leeds. Just last month the company installed the service in its first UK city and now Leeds will be the next for a huge expansion of £3 billion.

Manchester was the other city that Virgin Media has already expanded to, although BT using Openreach has a good eighty percent of the market in the UK covered with fibre. Virgin Media has said that the new project will bring super-fast broadband speeds to four millions homes in the UK by 2020. Today, Virgin confirmed that Leeds will be the next city to receive the super-fast broadband with a large investment of £40 million. 80,000 homes in the city will get access to broadband, TV and landline and people who live in Middleton will be able to have access to 152mbps broadband.
