Windows 10 is here, and we are just two days in and already, 14 million people have upgraded. Looks like the idea of free has paid off and a lot of people took the opportunity to upgrade from Windows 7 and Windows 8.1.

Demand for free

Microsoft got this right as in the first 24 hours, 14 million people downloaded th latest version of Windows and I think that a lot more people will be getting it as it gets released to more and more people. Microsoft stated that :

“We have seen unprecedented demand for Windows 10, with reviews and customer feedback overwhelmingly positive around the globe, we are doing everything we can to upgrade the world to Windows 10 as quickly as possible over there coming days and weeks ahead.”

Issues with Windows 10

So with Windows 10, we don’t actually know how many or if people are having issues with installing Windows 10 or using the operating system, but Microsoft is planning on rapidly bringing it to more people.

Later in the year, Windows 10 Mobile and Windows 10 for Xbox One will launch.
