It has been rumored that Apple have been working on a smaller version of last year’s iPad Pro; this rumour has become reality at todays “Loop you in” event.

Apple has revealed the new 9.7-inch, with a 2,048 x 1,536 resolution display. This mobile device weighs less than a pound making it much more mobile than the companies predecessors! The tablet is much similar to the 12.9-inch model, but with some brand new added features which will excite many Apple fans looking to purchase a new tablet device.

Features of the new iPad Pro:

The tablet includes Apple’s most advanced A9X processor so there is no compromise.

With TrueTone technology integrated into the tablet, the device automatically adjusts the brightness of the screen depending on the colour temperature of the light around you.  This includes 25 percent greater color saturation, deeper blacks, higher refresh rates and more. The True Tone Display uses two four-channel ambient light sensors to measure the color temperature of ambient light and adjust the display to match the environment

As for the rear iSight camera, the iPad Pro has the same 12.1-megapixel camera with a TrueTone Flash, Focus Pixels, and 4K video-recording capabilities (quite an improvement compared to the 12.9-inch Pro. Similar to its counterparts the device has Live Photos support and other advanced technology akin to the latest-generation of iPhone 6s.

The device has Four built in speakers that deliver two times more powerful audio volume compared to the iPad Air 2.

You’ll now also have a Rose Gold option, much like the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus (baring in mind these are Wifi only tablet).

The tablet is claimed to be The lowest reflectivity of any tablet!

The Smart Connector allows accessories to attach magnetically and provides power and data, and other perks.

There’s a keyboard case for the Pro 9.7 too, and that’s going to cost you an extra £129.
