It’s been quite a while since Microsoft has released a Insider beta build for Windows 10 and just yesterday build 14926 was made available for PC and mobile.

Whats new?

Microsoft Edge, the Internet Explorer replacement now features a “snooze” function. Microsoft say that users keep tabs open acting as a reminder to do something later on, a new feature allows Cortana to remind you to look at a website later on and get back to that page.

Making upgrading Windows 10 easier

Microsoft have said that they receive a lot of feedback about default apps or bloatware becomes reinstalled once Windows is upgraded. Now with 14926, Windows will check what apps have been installed and they wont be reinstalled once an upgrade is performed. While this only applies to Insider testers, it’s good to hear Microsoft is making these kinds of changes.

More extensions in Edge

Once Windows 10 launched, extensions were promised but didn’t arrive until very recently. Now Microsoft is working quickly with developers to get more Edge extensions out. For Insiders only at this time ‘TamperMonkey’ and the ‘Microsoft Personal Shopping Assistant.
