Earlier this year in May at the Microsoft Build conference, the company teased that iTunes would be coming to the Windows app store which would mainly benefit Windows 10 S users as on that version of Windows, only applications from the Windows Store can be used, unless you upgrade to Windows 10 Pro. The release of iTunes for the Windows Store was scheduled in for a release by the end of 2017.

Apple has confirmed to ZDNet in an email that the imminent had been delayed.

We have been working with Microsoft to deliver the full iTunes experience to our customers and we need a little more time to get it right
