It’s nearly the end of the road for Microsoft Groove users, the company announced at the end of last year that Groove Music would end up being retired in favour for a partnership with music streaming conglomerate, Spotify.

In October 2017, Microsoft suggested to users they can easily move to Spotify.

Today however, Microsoft is moving a little closer to fully shutting down Groove Music altogether, while Windows 10 users were promised the app would stay around this can’t be said for the iOS and Android counterparts. The Verge spoke to Microsoft and they said:

“Tomorrow we’re notifying customers that on December 1, 2018, the Groove Music iOS and Android apps will also be retired and, effective June 1, are no longer available for download.”
