The Apple Watch has been on sale in New Zealand since the very first model, but until this week the cellular model has not been on sale. It was similar here in the UK, when the Series 3 launched only EE and Vodafone supported the cellular capabilities, it was only until the Series 4 when O2 and other carriers added support too.

Now, customers in New Zealand can start purchasing the Apple Watch Series 3 and Series 5 in WiFi and Cellular configurations, through the Apple Store. Prices start at NZ$549 for Series 3 and NZ$929 for Series 5. Roughly converted NZ$929 is £465.

At the moment, Spark is the only carrier which carries the cellular Apple Watch and it starts at NZ$12.99 (£6.50) and your watch shares your iPhone’s data plan.
