Top Gear is coming back this Christmas on BBC Two with a full length special in Nepal. Chris Harris, Freddie Flintoff and Paddy McGuiness take a trip to the Himalayas. Chris is in an old Renault 4, Paddy chose a Peugeot 106 Rallye and Freddie didn’t buy a car – so he was given Nepal’s first ever locally built car.

The premise is that in the future, we’ll all live in cities and taking this on board what we all will need is city cars. So can city cars be tough enough to tackle anything? Chris, Freddie and Paddy have to pick up a city car for less than £5k. The three spent a week exploring Nepal in their cars.

Top Gear’s Christmas special hits UK screens on 29 December at 9pm, BBC Two.
