Next week is CES again, and Jeep has announced that they will be showing off electric versions of the Wrangler, Compass and the Renegade at CES 2020 next week as it kick starts its plans for offering electrified versions of all its models by 2022, which means every model will a hybrid by then, there doesn’t seem to be any plans to offer an all electric Jeep at this time.

Back in 2017, Jeep said they were working on a hybrid Wrangler and last year at Geneva, Jeep showed off the plug in hybrid Compass and Renegade for the European market here, for our versions the cars will get a small 1.3-litre four cylinder engine, with the electric motors powering the wheels.

For the US market the Compass and Renegade will get hybrid versions as well as the Wrangler, all models will get the ‘4x4e’ badging and this will be the branding going forward for electric Jeep models.

But Jeep will be showing off all three models at CES next week, so stay tuned to A&T Tech for all the latest CES news.
