In the news this week, Instagram has now brought direct messaging support to the web version of its service, Google has banned the use of Zoom for its employees over serious security concerns, Disney has 50 million subscribers for Disney+, Apple is now offering some of it’s Apple TV+ shows for free during the coronavirus pandemic and also, Volkswagen has had 20,000 orders for the new e-up! electric city car.
Instagram is now rolling out desktop DMs support to everyone
Following a small limited test run back in January, Instagram is now rolling out desktop DMs support to everyone. Meaning you can now message your friends on instagram.com.
Disney+ now has fifty million subscribers
The service only launched in the US five months ago and it launched here in the UK a few weeks ago.
Some Apple TV+ shows are now free to watch during the pandemic
You just need an Apple ID to log in with and the Apple TV app can be downloaded on Smart TVs, Amazon Fire TVs and much more, as well as iPads, iPhones, Macs and Apple TV boxes.
Google has now banned its employees from using video conferencing app, Zoom
This is over ongoing security concerns regarding the service.
