In the news week, Intel unveiled its 10th generation processors, Apple announced its Q2 earnings, Tesla has had to delay the Semi until 2021, Mini is hoping to reopen its Oxford plant soon and Mercedes is killing off the short lived X-Class this month.
Intel announces new 10th generation processors
This week, Intel unveiled its 10th generation of processors named ‘Comet Lake’ with one with a clock speed of up to 5.3 GHz and 10 cores, the new i9.
Mini is planning on opening its Oxford factory later in May
Back in March, due to the ongoing coronavirus Mini had to temporally close its Oxford factory and the other one it has in Europe. But now both are expected to reopen again on the 18th May.
Mercedes is killing off the X-Class pickup this month
Due to poor sales since introduction, the Nissan Navara based pickup truck is being dropped from sale this month.
Tesla Semi delayed until next year
Tesla gave no reason as to the delay, but it is likely due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Apple reported its Q2 earnings for 2020
Services hit an all time record for the company, of $13.34 billion.
