When car factories shut their doors all over the UK and Europe in March, it was unclear as when they would reopen again, but we are now starting to see the slow ramp up again, so far Lamborghini has started production again while in Sunderland, Nissan has extended its closure until June.

The more recent news is from Aston Martin, who has a factory in St Athan, Wales and it started production up again last week on Tuesday (5th May) albeit in a limited fashion and naturally with appropriate social distancing measures in place. The company has addressed new protocols and has limited the amount of staff that can be in the factory. Aston Martin has also made it mandatory for masks to be worn at all times.

The St Athan factory is where the new DBX SUV is being produced.
