Yesterday, Nissan has started production up again at its factory here in the UK, in Sunderland. Like many car companies, Nissan had to stop production a few months ago in March in order to protect its workforce, the factory closed on the 19th March. Earlier in May, the company announced its closure would extend to June and now, this week it is open again.

Nissan has spent a lot of time making sure the factory is safe for its workers, additional screens and dividers have been installed as well as one way systems.
