Today, Apple introduced new widgets for iPadOS and iOS but the big news is that for the first time since the iPhone was introduced, users can now customise their homes screen more freely than before.
Widgets
Apple has redesigned the widgets in the Today View and now you will able to drag them out and pin them to the home screen, with different sizes depending on how much information you need to see. Developers can design their own widgets for users to use too.
Apple is also introducing something called ‘App Library’ which is essentially an easier way of finding the apps you use less often and tend to put on other home screens.

Apple will also offer a “Smart Stack” which will group together widgets, based on the apps you use the most.
