The new Volkswagen ID.3 has recently starting making its way to customers, the 1st Edition started being delivered about a month ago but so far the only model on sale has been the 1st Edition which costs over £35,000. When the car was originally launched it was marketed that their would be model that will cost under £30,000 and today, VW has announced it.

“We are over the moon to be able to offer an ID.3 in the UK for under £30,000 so soon after the initial launch. The ID.3 Life is far from basic, with our medium sized battery, most powerful motor and extensive standard equipment list. Versions of the ID.3 with a smaller battery and less powerful motors will go on sale later next year with an even lower price.”

1st Edition

It also seems like the ID.3 1st Edition has been pulled from sale, it now not appearing on the Volkswagen UK website in the main model page this could indicate it has come to the end of its predetermined run as it was a limited model. We have reached out to Volkswagen today for a comment and will update this article once we have confirmation.
