Apple is still early days into its new venture with Apple TV+, the service isn’t even a year old and we’ve seen a handful of good shows so far, Ted Lasso for one but also Long Way Up, The Morning Show and a few films, including a Beastie Boys documentary. Ted Lasso launched earlier in August and it seems to have been very popular, part of what might have helped is the week by week release schedule, which harks back to traditional TV.

Ted Lasso launched earlier this year and it took off very well, bringing in 25% new viewers to Apple TV+ and according to a report from Deadline, the show has been the number one comedy show on Apple TV+ in fifty countries.

Despite the second season not even have started production yet, Apple has already commissioned the show for a third season. Production for season two will start in January 2021.
