Citroën has put the new all electric e-Berlingo on sale this week, starting at £29,575 in the UK. Being under £35,000, this price does include the government £2,500 grant. The e-Berlingo is sharing the same electric drivetrain as the e-Dispatch, the all electric commercial vehicle Citroën offers, but this is primarily designed as a passenger vehicle with a rear bench seat.

Citroën is offering two trim levels, Feel and Flair XTR. The base model has 16-inch steel wheels, LED daytime running lights, rear parking sensors, automatic headlights and electric door mirrors. Inside, the seats are fabric with a rear folding bench seat as well as an 8-inch infotainment screen.

The Flair XTR car has 17-inch alloys wheels, black door mirrors, digital drivers display, reversing camera and more.

The integrated battery system is 50kWh and can be recharged by a standard 7.4kW charger in around seven hours. The e-Berlingo does support 100kW DC rapid charging, which will get you from 0% to 80% in 30 minutes. Range is around 174 miles which is the same as the Combo e-Life from Vauxhall, which is based on the same platform.

The new e-Berlingo is available to order now, with prices starting from £29,575 for the Feel and £34,725 for the Flair XTR and deliveries will start in October 2021.
