Opel has announced this week that Poste Italiane, the Italian post office has ordered 1,744 brand new, all electric Corsa-e cars. Opel will deliver them later this year and the main goal is to reduce how much CO2 the postal service generates. The Opel Corsa-e and Vauxhall Corsa-e are visually and functionally identical, with a 337km (209 miles) range and rapid charging from public chargers.

It is unclear what Poste Italiane will be using the cars for, most likely as company cars as for deliveries, Stellantis offers the Combo-e Cargo, with similar range.
