The all electric e-Boxer from Peugeot can be ordered now and prices start from £49,335, the UK Government is offering a grant of £8,000 for plug-in vans and this price shown is with that taken into consideration. Other related vans from other Stellantis brands such as Vauxhall, Opel, Citroën and Fiat have identical looking vans with identical drivetrain and battery systems, the only one that differs is the new e-Ducato from Fiat, which is actually more expensive at £59,699.

Peugeot is offering the e-Boxer in a variety of body styles and options, with a passenger version, chassis cab version as well as a tipper truck and more. Two battery packs are offered, in 37kWh or 70kWh and the larger pack does add £5,750 to the base price, but offers up to 139 miles of range.

Charging can be done via a 22kW wallbox, which can charge the 37kWh battery in three hours from 0% to 100%, the 70kWh achieves this in nine hours. Both vans do support rapid charging at 50kW DC.

Only one trim level is offered in the UK, which comes with heated and electric door mirrors, rear parking sensors and a 5-inch screen for the infotainment system. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are not supported here, although they are on the new Fiat e-Ducato. There are some optional extras, with LED daytime running lights, heated driver’s seat, reversing camera and the option to swap the 12v socket for a USB port.

The new Peugeot e-Boxer is on sale now.
