Strategy Analytics recently reported on how many Apple Watch units they estimate Apple has sold during 2019 and they say that Apple has sold 30.7 million devices worldwide. Apple releases watchOS 6.2 beta to developers

Today, Apple has released the next version of watchOS for the Apple Watch, watchOS 6.2 beta has been released to developers only at this stage, this is just shortly after watchOS 6.1.2 was released publicly last week. The only change so far with watchOS 6.2 is the addition of in app purchases support.

Apple releases watchOS 6.1.2

Along with all the other operating system updates Apple released today, watchOS has also been updated for supported models, with watchOS 6.1.2 and there are no new features listed just the notes say this update “provides important security updates and is recommended for all users.” watchOS 6 can be updated from the watch itself or via a connected iPhone.

Yesterday, along with iOS 13.3, iPadOS 13.3, audioOS 13.3 and the new Mac Pro – Apple also released an update for the Apple Watch. watchOS 6.1.1 contains a number of bug fixes which are not listed. For those watches which do not support watchOS 6, watchOS 5.3.4 has also been released.
